ANALYSIS OF STANDARDIZATION OF FACILITIES AND INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE PHYSICS LABORATORY

In educational institutions, especially schools, infrastructure and facilities play a supportive role in instruction and learning. For physics instructional activities, laboratories are crucial. Studies conducted on labs in different Indonesian cities demonstrate the effects of varying infrastructure and facilities. According to preliminary observations, MAN 1 Banda Aceh already has a laboratory, although it is unknown what the infrastructure, facilities, and conditions appear good. The extent to which MAN 1 Banda Aceh's physics laboratory equipment and facilities are complete is the research's stated problem. The purpose of this study is to ascertain whether the physics lab at MAN 1 Banda Aceh's current infrastructure and facilities are standardized. Descriptive qualitative research methodology was employed in this study. The standard infrastructure and facility provisions in this study are based on National Education Ministerial Decree No. 24 of 2007. In this study, observation sheets, interviews, and documentation served as the data collection techniques. The findings of this study demonstrate that, in compliance with the requirements of National Education Ministerial Regulation number 24 of 2007, the completeness of facilities and infrastructure, including laboratory location and space, furniture, educational equipment, experimental equipment, educational media, and other equipment, received a score of 89.54% with a very complete category.
