Children still stammer in answering questions asked by their peers, are not involved in conversations that take place during learning and tend not to like making friends. For example, when the teacher asks about the activities that the child has just done, and when answering the question, the children have difficulty composing the words that the child will say. The research aimed to determine whether there was an effect of applying the show-and-tell method on the speaking abilities of group B children at PAUD Ceria Sabena kids II AcehBig. Using quantitative type with experimental research design method, one group pretest-posttest design, total population of 46 children, the sample of 26 children using a purposive sampling technique. The research results obtained pre-test and post-test scores. In the pretest class, the score was 61.50, the post-test was 71.50%, and the significance value (Sig) obtained for the normality test in the pretest was 0.051 > 0.05. In the posttest, 0.008 > 0, 05 can be stated that the second data is normally distributed. As well as obtaining the t value-count > t table, it 5 > 1.3311. Bullying manifests as the calculated utilization of power to inflict verbal, physical, or psychological harm upon an individual or a collective, inducing feelings of depression, trauma, and helplessness in the victim. The perpetrators of such conduct are commonly referred to as bullies, transcending gender and age distinctions, with a prevalence among teenagers, particularly within educational institutions. Bullying behavior among adolescents encompasses both non-physical or verbal forms and physical or non-verbal manifestations. The latter involves acts of violence, such as stepping on, slapping, and object throwing, whereas the former involves verbal actions like isolation, insults, name-calling, cursing, public humiliation, accusations, jeering, slander, and shouting. Bullies exhibit distinctive traits, often characterized by advanced age, greater physical stature, enhanced verbal acumen, elevated social status, and diverse racial backgrounds. The perpetration of bullying is not an arbitrary occurrence but rather influenced by a confluence of factors, encompassing familial, scholastic, and individual intrinsic characteristics. Given its pervasive impact on the mental health of victims, the prevention of bullying is imperative. Children subjected to bullying are susceptible to a spectrum of problems, including heightened anxiety, persistent fear, depression, sleep disturbances, and potential ramifications into adulthood. Furthermore, physical health issues such as headaches, stomachaches, and muscle tension may ensue, along with a sense of insecurity within the school environment, contributing to diminished enthusiasm for learning and academic achievement. Proactive measures to curb bullying are thus paramount to mitigate these deleterious consequences.
2023-11-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Wanty Khaira https://thelunarian.com/journal/article/view/7 Moral Education Methods in Sufistic Counseling From the Perspective of Al-Ghazali and Ibnu Miskawaih 2024-01-14T12:20:38+07:00 Evi Zuhara evi.zuhara@ar-raniry.ac.id
The contemporary era's changes have led to moral degradation in society.
